Day thirty nine: O’Sarracino, Mt Eden Road

Italian cuisine loved the world round. Every so often you have a dining experience that may transport you back to Tuscony or Umbria. This was the case when we visited O’Sarrcino at the Symonds Street end of Mt Eden Road. We chose the degustation menu, sat back and waited to be served. Appetisers of breads, seafood and charcuterie were produced, followed by the main course of fillet steak on a bed of rocket sprinkled with parmigiana cheese. Dessert was a sumptuous cassata. O’Sarracino is a dining experience not to be missed.
