Day fifty four: Kermadec in the Viaduct

The Auckland Viaduct is synonymous with fine dining and late night partying with a fantastic selection of bars, restaurants, clubs and cafes. One of the longer standing establishments is Kermadec offering both restaurant and bar/brasserie options.

Set in the heart of the Viaduct basin with a stunning deck to soak up the afternoon sun, and boasting one of the best views in town, Kermadec unashamedly specialises in preparing some of the best seafood meals Auckland has to offer. The Peter Thornly inspired menu does have red meat options but seafood is king here. The French Rugby team have fully booked the restaurant for the entire World Cup – we think they are onto a good thing.
