Wednesday night ushers in the 2011 installment of Taste of New Zealand. In what will probably be the biggest weekends in Auckland in recent history, Taste provide a welcome distraction from the nerves of this week’s Rugby World Cup final.
This year’s event features two of the world’s most recognisable chefs, Gary Rhodes and Rick Stein. Rhodes opens the main stage and Stein bringing his love of Malaysian cuisine to the Malaysian Kitchen.
The event gives you the opportunity to sample cuisine from some of the best restaurants in Auckland, at a fraction of the price. Over 140 local food producers, wineries, breweries and top restaurants will be strutting their stuff in Victoria Park and the entertainment is headlined by the ever-popular Nathan Haines.
