Day ninety: Mexico

A traditional dining experience can sometime be hard to come by, so we were delighted to enter Mexico in the old Kiwi Tavern building in Britomart, and feel we’d been transported to our favourite bar in Oaxaca. You can grab a drink from the extensive cocktail, beer, mezcal or tequila list and sit out front, or settle into of the tightly packed tables and order from the short but tasty menu. The service is swift and friendly, and the food is unbelievably good.  Our picks are the quesadills, and the grilled fish or chipotle steak soft shell tacos. Avocado lovers will rave about the guacamole.  Also, be sure to check out the bathroom dedicated to Frida Kahlo!
