Day one hundred and thirty eight: No.1 Pancake

PHWe love little places like the Pancake Hut, a small little hole in the wall takeaway bar that has queues of people sprawling out onto the pavement. It is the sort of place that demands you to take notice just by the sheer volume of people waiting to have lunch. The reason is the freshly made Korean pancakes that at $4.50 provide a cheap and tasty lunchtime alternative. Happy clientele choose from sweet or savoury options. I went for the chicken and cheese combo and it was simply delicious.

It is located on the corner of Lorne and Wellesley Streets.

  1. Hi there! Great to see some fellow Auckland bloggers on here. I have only lived in NZ (and Auckland) for nearly 2 years, so looking for some inspiration on where to go and what to try out. Great blog 🙂
