Day one hundred and eighty seven: Auckland Fish Markets

On a dreary Sunday afternoon we descended on the Auckland Fish Market in search of some fresh seafood for lunch. Upon arrival we were surprised by the size of the outdoor courtyard where we could eat in relative warmth (it was August but the heaters were greatar39936_web) and let the kids loose on an inflatable bouncy castle or  in the enormous sandpit. Kids dine free with every adult main purchased, and there is free ice cream for every coloured-in picture completed, so the Fish Market certainly ticked a lot of boxes for a family lunch. Our tip would also be to grab some fresh seafood from the counter to take home.
