Day two hundred and sixteen: Mary’s Cafe

1c0f678f1fc1a630898e408cb62b4bae_200_thumbMary’s is a new cafe on the Auckland scene that we have been meaning to check out for a while now, for the simple reason that it is run by Tim Tohill, formerly of Benediction, Jafa and Shore Rd Cafe. We certainly weren’t disappointed. The coffee was expertly made and our meals were quick to arrive and delicious. The menu is varied – lambs fry and bacon, mushrooms on toast along with the usual egg suspects and an extensive array of cabinet food. The cafe is located in the old Ponsonby Fire Station, 13 St Mary’s Rd.
