Day two hundred and eighty five: Amano

First it was the bakery on Tyler Street serving inventive breakfast and baked goodness, alongside exceptional coffee. Then came the must dine restaurant.

Amano is located in a 110 year old building in the heart of Britomart. The space has been transformed into one of the best dining areas in Auckland. A pleasant place to dine is one thing but it is the food that counts. Amano certainly doesn’t disappoint on that front. The rustic Italian fare is some of the most authentic in the city. We ordered a wide variety of plates from beef carpaccio to crayfish parcels. Each dish was beautifully arranged and simply delicious.
